HBO's big-budget Game of Thrones prequel is "a rich, textured work, sharply written and handsomely directed", which is darker and more sophisticated than the original, writes Stephen Kelly.Unfortunately, the books have not been completed yet, with still two left to come out. There is still no timeline for the release of them either. However, it is still definitely worth a read because of the reasons I mentioned above and more. And quite frankly, the books are very addictive, and you will rarely get bored.
A coffee table book which gives readers an overview of the history and politics of Westeros as shown in the series 'Game of Thrones'. McNutt's selection of photographs is fine, but sometimes the articles and text boxes are over simplified for readers and this fails as an aide de memoir in an age where it would be easier to rewatch the series.
